NEW DELHI: Actress Aishwarya Rai is down with a “chest infection” and “flu-like symptoms” and her fatherin-law , Amitabh Bachchan, is worried.
“Aishwarya has taken ill and is down with chest infection and flu-like symptoms. She had high fever on Saturday , but is settling down today,” he posted on his blog from Singapore.
“It’s worrying to be so far away from children and not be there to look after them. Yes, they are mature and married and responsible, but children will always remain children ,” he added.
The 66-year-old veteran is in Singapore to look after his friend and Samajwadi Party chief Amar Singh, who underwent medical treatment there. “I will stay back till he (Amar Singh) is sound enough to travel back,” he wrote. Apparently Bachchan also is suffering from a “strained back”.

maine apke bare mein bahut suna aur bahut dekha bhi par kabhi aisa din nahi aaya ki mai apse milu.
kabhi baten karun. par sayad mujhe nahi lagta ki mai apse se kabhi mil bhi paunga.
log to kehte hai ki ishwar ko pana bahut mushkil hai par mujhe lagta hai ki apko pana hi bahut mushkil to mai ishar ko kaise paa sakta hun. meri dili khwahis hai ki mai apse milu. agar apko kabhi apni zindgi se do pal mile to mujhse milne ya call karne ke bare mein zarur socha i requested u.
